Job Description:
VSG are currently looking for professional Security officers to join one of our prestigious contracts in Highcross Leicester. The ideal candidate will have previous security experience and excellent customer service skills.
Job Description:
- Provide a professional and customer focused service for all customers, retailers, visitors, staff and contractors
- Manage customer comments, complaints and queries in a professional manner, escalating to the Team Leader as necessary
- Ensure all security activities are carried out adhering to the requirements of the SIA, both criminal and civil law and in compliance to Highcross policies and procedures
- Manage the opening and closing of the centre ensuring the security of the site at all times
- Participate in the patrolling of the malls, car parks and external areas taking ownership for responsibilities as identified in your patrol program and assisting customers as required
- Ensure service and safety across the scheme by carrying out regular checks and patrols escalating any issues or Health & Safety concerns to the Control Room
- Manage unacceptable behaviour in line with Highcross procedures
- Provide a deterrent for possible crime
- Being first response to incidents, highlighting issues to the Team Leader as required
- To ensure that high levels of Customer Service, Safety and Operational Standards are maintained at all times
- Manage traffic flow with the car parks to maximise space by directing visitors to free spaces and manage entry and exits as required. Attend pay stations, exit and entry barriers to provide assistance to customers and perform general maintenance and repairs recommended by the manufacturer and in accordance with Highcross car park procedures. Perform car park equipment cleaning processes (following the cleaning schedule, training and manufacturers appropriate guidelines)
- Ensure effective radio communications, assisting in the monitoring of the centre activities
- Provide written reports to aid company communication both internally and externally. These should prove concise and sound
- Champion customer service and ensure that comments and complaints are recorded and dealt with professionally
- Offer advice to retailers on Health & Safety and Security
- Undertake an extensive mentoring/coaching program
- Attend any training and development courses as necessary
